Sorry for the long silence. Was tied up with few things which mainly includes entertaining my super cheeky and manja 1 year old you. Also, we got new stuff coming up our way.. big stuff for us all. That has kept me occupied, mentally, emotionally, physically.. and that's my excuse this time..
I still owe Uncle Yeh a 'report' on your birthday bash. Unfortunately, I dont think i have the will to go through all the pics and upload them yet. Heheh.. so wait Uncle Yeh must. Anyway, your birthday bash was GRREAAT! Tok Ma really went all out to throw you a perfect party. Homecooked authentic meals, partypack/gifts for everyone (including parents of the kids)... she even hang the party deco herself! I thk her enthusiasm must have rubbed on to Tok Pa, who went out the nite before the party to buy an inflatable pool to add more splashing fun the next day. Oklah, with those preview.. i shall leave it for another post ok?
We went back to KB recently for Uncle Sham's wedding and some serious gastronomic indulgence. Again, me too lazy for photos.. maybe next time when i feel like it.. heh
This is becoming an anti climax post isnt it? Hahah
OOh.. i got one good news... your tooth.. it's finally budding out!!
and from the look of it, they looked as if they're RUSHING out.. a few of them simultaneously.
Havent attempted on the parents ultimate challenge - taking a pic of the tooth bud. But shall get to it soon.
Aaanyway, here comes some bad news..Now that you've turned one, I'm determine to wean you off our bed and your pacifier.

who am i kidding?! i'm the last person to give u advice on these issues! i'm trying to wean gibran off of our bed, and we're doing this by putting an adjoining single bed and putting him beside Baba. So Baba's in the middle lah. why? coz the reality is; he needs to be weaned off the night-time cuddles his Mummy indulges him with! yes guilty as charged :( so far it's not working as well as i wish it would. he still climbs over his Baba to sleep beside me (tengah malam i would feel a sudden smack on my face when he tries to cuddle my face!) but from 10pm to 6am (when he sleeps the soundest) he'd remain on his bed. good start for us, i guess. abt the pacifier... hooboyyyyy am i not the one to talk abt that! gib still uses it to go to sleep, he takes it out from 10pm to 6am, but after subuh it's like permanently stuck in his mulut. how ah??
hahaha like BB too,im in the same situation!!kid just wont leave us both alone on the bed.haih...and yeah,we did exactly like BB mentioned,letak her single bed right next to us,but nah-ah,she STILL manage to climb up and snuggle beside me.
oh the pacifier part.ok,i have experience on that.tapi,agak kekejaman sedikit lah.start it by sloooowly not let him depend on it too much.like,if he still takes his afternoon nap,try not to gv it.yes,he will cry..but lama2 if penat,they will eventually sleep.BUT,sometimes it wont work straight away.lotsa patient and 'kekentalan' to hear the crying part.heh.
eventually...they will forget bout it.took me bout,hmm a month kot for mia to be really pacifierless.hehe
