It's been more than a month since I joined the family biz. To date, it's been nothing short of great! Needless to say, I get to spend more time with my loved ones, you and Papa especially. I get to go to work at my own leisurely time and even if I need to payback by staying late, it would only be in the office with your Papa and Tok Pa or, better still at home working alongside Papa. Oh yeah, Papa and I get to go on more lunch dates nowadays too.
You have visited us a number of times at the office.. and everytime you pay a visit, it's almost like down time for everyone cos really, who can afford to work when there's cheeky meeky Amir aroundlah
The work itself is very enjoyable. Aunty Gja has also joined us recently as my right hand man(woman?). For the past week, Aunty Gja and me has been going around shopping malls and more looking for what the clients requested. We are currently establishing contacts with potential suppliers and clients. And since ppl are generally unique, we've got so many colourful stories to tell. Of course, there's a downside to this too ie ppl have hung up on us, flirted with us, vent out their frustration with world's injustice to us.. and it's only been a month plus and we're not even door-to-door salesperson! Nevertheless, it's great to be doing this with Aunty Gja cos she's a cool buddy though we can be the silliest duo sometimes.
On more on you now... you had your second haircut a couple of days ago courtesy of your Mama. While it's not totally disastrous, it doesnt turn out as 'nice'. What I did was a simple snip along your sideburn which turned out too.. emm.. abrupt. And in my effort to save the day, I 'improvised' your notorious jambul a little.
